Biography

Evan Tyler is a visual artist, musician and writer living in Saskatchewan. His artwork focuses on the voice and performance, synthesizing and collaging fictional and autobiographical content. His ideas are often captured in short movies, drawings and installations expressing themes of excess, dysfunction, codependency, resentment, anxiety, addiction, desire and vulnerability.

Tyler has exhibited both nationally and internationally. His video works are distributed through VTAPE in Toronto. He is a graduate of Masters of Visual Studies (MVS) in the studio program at The University of Toronto. He also participated in the collaborative program with the Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies (SDS).
